李光耀，生于1964年，麗江納西族人。令他光耀一生的，是他與小提琴的故事。

9歲那年，他聽到露天電影里播放的一段小提琴演奏家盛中國演奏的《新疆之春》，被優(yōu)美而歡快的琴聲打動(dòng)，當(dāng)時(shí)他還不知道這件樂器叫小提琴：“他一拉把我的魂都拉過去了，我一聽這個(gè)聲音就非常熱愛。

那是1973年的麗江，能叫得出小提琴的人寥寥無幾。

李光耀是麗江納西族人，他自學(xué)了一輩子小提琴，立志培養(yǎng)納西族的小提琴家。

為了擁有一把這樣的樂器，李光耀拿著憑印象用鉛筆勾勒出的一把琴，逼著身為木匠的父親制作出一把這樣的樂器。父親看他熱愛至極，先是跑遍了麗江的商鋪，但實(shí)在沒有看到。最后只好親自動(dòng)手，按著他的畫制作出了一個(gè)和小提琴長得有點(diǎn)像的東西。

弦就用電線的鋼絲，弓就借了一把二胡弓，就這樣，李光耀的第一把“小提琴”誕生了。他回憶：“這個(gè)東西長得有點(diǎn)像，但是不能拉，一拉就發(fā)出一種奇怪的聲音，簡直不可思議。”

三年后，父親終于托人買得了一把真正的小提琴，花了35元，當(dāng)時(shí)父親的工資是每個(gè)月45元。12歲的李光耀終于有了一把能拉的小提琴，他視其如寶，每天胡拉亂奏，開始走上了小提琴自學(xué)之路。

從一個(gè)老師那里學(xué)得了調(diào)音，從另一個(gè)老師那里學(xué)會(huì)了五線譜。有的老師教了他半年，發(fā)現(xiàn)沒有更多的內(nèi)容可以傳授給他了，于是他就自己練。

他的練琴不分日夜，有的時(shí)候半夜有了靈感，就起床練習(xí)。他的練琴也不分地點(diǎn)，在工地打零工時(shí)，一有休息時(shí)間，就開始練習(xí)。有的時(shí)候，怕影響到別人，就自己拿著琴到玉米地里去拉。

李光耀喜歡看一切關(guān)于音樂的書。

21歲那年，李光耀通過了云南藝術(shù)學(xué)院的考試，并拿到了錄取通知書。但因家境貧寒，為了不增加父母親的負(fù)擔(dān)，他當(dāng)著父母親的面把錄取通知書撕了，不去讀了。

他先是在水泥廠打工，后來當(dāng)了出租車司機(jī)。無論做什么，下班后，他一定是在練琴。

到了1986年，李光耀開始利用業(yè)余時(shí)間給一些納西族的小孩上小提琴課。他便開始了一邊自學(xué)，一邊教學(xué)的狀態(tài)。

對于他來說，演奏的技術(shù)只是表達(dá)音樂的一種手段，而情感的流露出自內(nèi)心。也許他因?yàn)闆]有接受過小提琴專業(yè)系統(tǒng)的教育，在技術(shù)方面可能不是那么精湛，但這并不阻止他流露自己的情感，也沒有減少他對小提琴的熱愛。反而是因?yàn)樽詫W(xué)的道路并不平坦，他需要加倍的執(zhí)著和努力來守護(hù)這一份熱愛。

退休后的李光耀，全心投入小提琴教學(xué)。即便他的身體狀況并不是很好，心臟安了三個(gè)支架，再加上高血壓、糖尿病，腿腳也不太靈活，但這一切也阻擋不了他續(xù)寫和小提琴的故事。他希望自己教過這一百多名學(xué)生，將來能成就一位納西族的小提琴家，那么，他和小提琴的故事也就有了圓滿的結(jié)局。

Sincehisretirement,he'sdevotedhimselftoviolinteaching.Despitesufferingfromheartdisease,diabetes,andhypertension,andhislimitedmobility,Lihasnotgivenupdedicatinghislifetotheviolin.Hehopesoneofhishundredsofstudentscanbecomeaprofessionalviolinist,aNaxiviolinist,sothathisviolinstorycanfindaperfectending.
